Gregor and the Code of Claw

Collins finishes her fabulous Underland Chronicles with her 5th book about Gregor the Overlander. In this final storyline, war has been declared between the rats and the humans who live in Regalia. The final prophecy from Regalia's founder, Sandwich, proclaims that the war hinges on breaking the rats' new code, the Code of Claw, and Gregor's sister Lizzie even gets involved in the codebreaking. The prophecy also predicts that Gregor must face the Bane, the evil white rat who started the war, and that both of them will die. Gregor has a hard time facing his doom and an even harder time wondering what will happen to him if he does survive the war. What of his family? What about his rager abilities? And his friendships with Luxa, Ripred, Howard, and Ares? How will the Underland fare when the war is over? It would be giving away too much to tell more, but readers will not be disappointed by the big wrap up, unless it is to be saddened by the end of a great series. There is plenty of action, adventure and character growth for everyone. Thumbs up for the whole series.

these were the best books i have ever read i wish you could write more because i was doing so well in school it was like i couldn't put them down and there isn't another one to pick up i hope you read this for yourself i hope you would write more they are infact the best of all the books i have ever read i wish you could make more of them it was like they campleted my life i know it sounds untrue but it is true and i'm only 13 years old and i just couldn't beleive that i got threw the whole chronicles with out getting bored with new things to discover but one of my biggest qyestions is did they move to Virginia and does gregor ever get to see Luxa ever again there are still a lot of questions in my head and they won't go away so it would mean the world to me if you could tell me some how. Please it would mean the woeld to me. Megan Miller

No name,
Megan i know how you feel, i to have many questions so i reread it. It was hard for me to let go, i loved those books, i could read them for 3 hours and not even relize it until the next morning when i would wake up with a book in my face. My opinion is that he never saw luxa because it said the stone slab parted them forever and it was heartbreaking for me to read that after all they have benn through( the dance,'date', pinic, etc.) But for anyone looking for a chronicle of amazing books, no question about it gregor and the underland chronicles, are the best.

i thought that the book left a cliff hanger in that he didnt just say "then they moved to verginia and the end" so i think that they will see each other again.

Gregor is good but Drizzt is the best. Look Up R.A. Savatore, The drizzt series has 15 or 16 books so far, he has a highwayman series, and a Drow Cleric Quintet for forgotten realms. He also has the crimson shadow sequence he wrote for some other people and its awsome. Tracy Hickman And Margret Weis are also very good writers in te Dragonlance series.

I just finished the last book and I totally agree. If Collins isn't already writing another book for the series, it would be ridiculous for her to not to. There was tons of unanswered questions. In the last chapter, Gregor's parents were talking about whether or not they were going to move to Virginia, but the book ended before any questions were answered. And I personally think that Gregor and Luxa should be reunited, considering all that they have been through, but if thats how she chooses to end it, then whatever. It's still a GREAT series for anyone looking for a tearjerker and brutal finale...

The Gregor the Overlander series was AWESOME! I couldnt take my eyes away from it. Its a very nice series of books. They are like the kind that takes you into that world and lets you explore its world. My favorite one out of all of them was Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane..That one was great. In the last book, the only thing I did not like was Ares dying. He was like the best character, and the thing with him and Gregor having that bond, was great, but then he died..
Im 16 and i read these books and thought they were wonderful, KEEP WRITING!

I think the underland series were great and that you should write another 1 because i think the 5th book was the best but also the worst cuz it was kinda sad and their was so many unanswered questions so u should at least take it into consideration that u write another book to top all the others and not make it as sad.

Gregor is the best series i have ever read!!!!! I literally started crying at the end of book 5. It was like i was there looking at the whole thing! You have to make another book if the 5th book is just hangin'around like that, and a movie!!!!!!!!! That would be awesome!!!!!!!

Hi, this is Holly and I am 11 years old and I love your series and especially love Grogor and the Code of Claw! I just wish that you would write a 6th book to just get rid of all the unfinished business with Luxa and the rest of the Underland. Maybe you could write an epilogue or something. Please?
